Joe Courtney

US 2nd Congressional District

Joe Courtney is seeking his 11th term in the US House of Representatives. Since his election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006, Joe Courtney has served as an independent voice and tireless advocate for eastern Connecticut. Sent to Washington during the most trying economic period in a generation, Joe has fought to protect jobs in the region and to expand opportunities for Connecticut businesses. His priorities include infrastructure, agriculture, education, healthcare, defense, and veterans.

Cathy Osten

CT 19th Senate District

Senator Osten is seeking her 8th term in the CT Senate. She was first elected to the Connecticut State Senate in 2012, representing the 19th District (Marlborough, Hebron, Columbia, Franklin, Lebanon, Ledyard, Lisbon, Norwich, Sprague, and part of Montville). In the 2019 session, Osten served as chair of the Appropriations Committee, vice-chair of the Labor & Public Employees and Public Safety & Security committees, and member of the Legislative Management, Regulation Review, Transportation, and Veterans' Affairs committees. She has long been a strong supporter and advocate for Marlborough, and will continue to work for our town.

Ellen Paul

CT 55th House of Representatives District

Ellen Paul is running for office for the first time. She is a librarian and has experience in politics working for Congressman Joe Courtney's office from 2006-2011. She is running with a commitment to bring back American values. Community over partisanship, common sense over party ideals, and good governance for Connecticut. She is a mother that is committed to building a state and town that is ideal for the growth of her children and family. She also holds a commitment to fiscal responsibility so that Connecticut is affordable for everyone.

The final Democratic Slate for the 2026 Election is still a work in progress. Connecticut will hold Democratic Primary Elections on August 11th, 2026. These elections will decide the final candidates that will be on the ballot this fall.

Apply for an Absentee Ballot starting June 27
Absentee Ballots Available July 21


Early Voting August 3 - 9th:
10 am - 6 pm, with extended hours
8 am - 8 pm on Aug. 4th and 6th

Election Day Voting August 11th:

6 am - 8 pm

General Election Day

Last day for pre-election voter registration
Register online until 11:59 pm or in-person until 8 pm at your Registrar's office (usually at Town Hall).
Same-Day Registration will be available throughout the Early Voting period and on Election Day, Nov. 3

Vote at your Early Voting location from October 19th through November 1st, 10 am to 6 pm daily, with extended hours from to 8 am to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 27th and Thursday, October 29th
