Planning Commission

The Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations for municipal improvements such as streets, parks, playgrounds, schools, land acquisition, sewer and water extensions as well as reviewing the annual Town Capital Budget. The Commission also facilitates public participation in the community planning process by conducting public hearings, community meetings, and workshops on various topics as it develops the POCD and other long range planning documents. Seeking input from residents, businesses, and other stakeholders is done by the Commission to provide residents an opportunity to actively participate in the planning process that determines land use and infrastructure polices of the Town.  The Marlborough Democrat candidates bring knowledge and experience that are vital to the town.
