Board of Assessment Appeals and Zoning Board of Appeals
Connecticut has processes in place for residents to appeal decisions regarding zoning decisions in town and the accuracy of real estate, motor vehicle or personal property taxes. The Marlborough Democrat slate has qualified candidates that will be fair and reasonable to respect the perspectives of both the Town of Marlborough and it's residents.

Emily Collins: Emily holds a Bachelor's in Political Science and a Master's in Public Policy. She is dedicated to serving communities in CT as the Director of Development at Journey Found (a CT-based non-profit) and as a volunteer with the Connecticut Wildlife Rescue Network.

Matt Wilson: Matt is an active member in the Marlborough community. He is the current Vice Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals and also serves as a volunteer EMT and firefighter. He has a professional background as a hydrogeologist, which is valuable with regards to Zoning issues in town. He holds two Bachelor's degrees (in Geology and Computer Science), as well as a Master's in Geology.

Liz Bransfield: Liz is an Assistant Director of Healthcare Quality and Senior Quality Improvement Specialist. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics. Liz is eager to serve her community as a Board member.

Bob Larson, Esq.: Bob is an attorney that works as the Director at Gilead Community Services. His professional and legal expertise will be valuable when considering appeals regarding Zoning issues in town.
